Underclass

The news reported that America is developing an underclass.I say that we have had a underclass for the longest time. When we allow people to live here illegally, when we deny them access to a driver's license, when we deny them a work permit so that they cannot work and provide food for their families what are we doing? We have already created an underclass. No country is helped by having an underclass. We don't become a better people or a better nation. Hey Congress are you listening?

Immigration Update May 14, 2010

So we just found out that Eric Holder did not read the Arizona Immigration law. But does he need to read it? We all know how anit-immigrant the law is and how hateful it is. We dont need the federal government to just file a law suit against Arizona to stop the law. We need immigration reform. How much longer should we wait. It is ironic that the United States will allow millions of people to enter the country illegally and or to remain in the country illegally but yet they are not allowed to become get a work permit, drive or be treated with dignity. Why the double standard? Yes the government does not agree with Arizona so do something!!
